DeVika M. Lyles, M.Ed. is an Educational Sexologist, Certified Life Coach and Instructional Designer. She has a background in Educational Psychology with a focus on Counseling and Human Relations. With more than 20 years in the field, she has become known as someone who advocates for the continued and intentional transformation of Sex, Sexualiy and Intimacy Education.
Through her work people have developed healthy relationships and cultivated Sex Positivity and a freedom from shame and limitation. She has helped many families build a solid foundation for openly and safely discussing difficult topics which leads to breakthroughs and healing. Currently she is developing The Center for Transformative Sexology with a mission to bring forth a new realm of possibility in the areas of her passion. Previous projects have included (and are not limited to):
The Skin Hunger Project: A program designed to bring awareness to the mental and emotional struggles experienced in the absence of safe, non sexual and consensual touch.
SexPOCItivity: A program designed to decolonize Sex and Sexuality by focusing on the cultural differences and contributions of People of Color .
Naturally Polyamorous: A community designed to support those who view Non Monogamous relationship orientations as part of their core identity.
In addition to these programs, DeVika continually develops herself both professionally and personally through ongoing education and certification programs. She is a Certified Cuddle Party Facilitator, Somatic Arts Practitioner and Sexulaity Education Facilitator. DeVika stands as a vocal advocate for the LGBTQI community and is Safe Zones trained.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
